Julia Pelosi-Thorpe is an Italian-Australian PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of Pennsylvania, after studying Classics and Italian Studies at the Universities of Melbourne and Bologna.
Her translations of Latin, Italian, and Emilian/Friulian Dialect poetry and prose appear or are forthcoming in Asymptote, Chicago Review, A Public Space, The Hopkins Review, Modern Poetry in Translation, The Poetry Review, Journal of Italian Translation, Cordite, Griffith Review, and other literary magazines.
